Aluminium Profile Benefits

Why Aluminium Profile?

extensive range Profile Varieties

ICS Aluminium offers over extensive aluminium profile varieties for every construction project — from standard box profiles to custom extrusions.

International Standards

CE-certified aluminium profiles with Qualicoat and Qualanod-compliant surface finishing. Exported to over 80 countries.

Corrosion Resistance

Aluminium profiles do not rust. Anodised or powder-coated surfaces provide decades of protection even in coastal areas — ideal for curtain walls, glass balconies and handrails.

Lightweight & High Strength

Aluminium profiles are three times lighter than steel with comparable strength. 6060, 6063 and 6082 aluminium alloys provide the right mechanical properties for every application.

Insulated Glass Balconies: Superior Sound and Thermal Performance

ICS insulated-glass (double-glazed) balcony systems upgrade standard single-glass enclosures with a sealed air or argon cavity that sharply reduces noise transmission and heat transfer. Residents near busy roads report perceptible noise reduction once the balcony is enclosed with 4/16/4 mm insulated units, while winter heat loss through the glazed envelope drops by up to 40 % compared to monolithic glass. The aluminium frame accommodates 24 mm sealed units as standard, with 28 mm options for projects demanding higher acoustic ratings.

Frame Design and Durability

The carrier profiles are extruded from EN AW-6063 T6 aluminium with anodised or polyester powder-coat finishes rated to Qualicoat Class 2 for coastal environments. Internal drainage channels collect any condensation and discharge it to the exterior through concealed weep slots, preventing water staining on balcony tiles. The panel hardware uses zinc-alloy die-cast rollers with sealed bearings, tested to 20,000 open-close cycles. Combined with EPDM perimeter seals, the system achieves water-tightness up to 300 Pa and air permeability class 3 under EN 12207.

Installation and After-Sales Support

Every ICS insulated-glass balcony order ships with a detailed installation manual, exploded-view assembly drawings and a QR-linked video guide. Our field-support engineers are available for on-site training during the first project, ensuring the installation team achieves factory-quality results from day one. Spare parts — rollers, gaskets, locking handles — are stocked in our Istanbul warehouse for next-day dispatch. For architects and developers, we supply Revit families and DWG section details to streamline the specification process.
